line segments

Let us learn about line segments

The particular part of line is called as line segment. The line segment is ended with two end points and the triangle sides are example of line segment. Similar relationships are present in one or more line segments like parallel and intersection. The ray also contain the segment with all points.

Explanation for Line Segment Only

Definition for line segment only:

The line segment is parameterize by vector space and subset. The expression for line segment is L = { u + tv | t £[ 0, 1 ] }. Here u and v is vector space and L is subset and consider the end points as u, u + v.This is expressed for closed line segment.

For open loop segment the subset is expressed as L = { u + tv | t £(0, 1) }. Here also u and v is vectors.

The infinite line is separated by end points that is the points is referred as closed

interval. AB is indicate the line segment length. The line segment has one dimension that is length. It does not contain width and breadth. The two end points has straight line.

In our next blog we shall learn about types of sponges I hope the above explanation was useful.Keep reading and leave your comments.
